Philippians 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Jesus is Lord. Jesus is not A l (lower case l) lord. Jesus is Lord.
I simply can't believe that God would have every knee bow IN HEAVEN and on earth and under the earth to anyone but GOD himself, namely Jesus the Lord

You must believe it because that is what is WRITTEN in Scripture!!
Note, all tongues will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of GOD the Father
i.e. to the glory of the ONE GOD!
Look again at
(Acts 2:34-36) For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself,
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
that God hath MADE that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
both Lord and Christ.
Now why did Peter quote Psalm 110.1?

Did you know that this is the most quoted OT verse in the NT?
Used as a prooftext by both Jesus and his disciples to show the Lordship of the Messiah!!
Thus, both OT Jews & 1st-century Jewish Christians understood that the Messiah was to be a highly-exalted human lord by the very own language.
The Hebrew of Psalm 110.1 is
YAHWEH said unto adoni
So the first word 'LORD' is YAHWEH GOD ALMIGHTY, therefore, the 2nd word, 'Lord'; denote someone who is NOT YAHWEH, hence, NOT GOD
(There is only ONE GOD)
The second word, 'Lord' is the Hebrew word adoni; which in all its 195 occurrences in the Hebrew Bible (OT) means
a 'lord' who is NOT GOD, NOT deity!!
It is used to denote human lords & occasionally angelic lords.
(We know from Hebrews Chs 1-3, that
Jesus Christ was/is no angelic being)
So from their very own language Jews understood that the Messiah was to be a human lord; who would be so highly exalted that he would be second to GOD Himself.
Hence, Peter quotes Psalm 110.1;
to let his Jewish audience know that, that verse is now fulfilled;
and Jesus of Nazareth is that "2nd lord" i.e. that adoni whom YAHWEH hath ordained and decreed to sit at His right hand!!
Hence, one day, every tongue will confess this fact, that
Jesus the Messiah is "Lord/adoni" to the glory of YAHWEH!!
Jesus alone has received that honor and exaltation, hence he is the "one Lord".
Thus,
(1 Cor 8:6) But to us there is but one God, the Father, ...
and one Lord, Jesus Christ, ...
